Title: 2005 (05) Jazz 1.4 SE DCi Auto & Iphone 3GS
Post by: guest1307 on March 22, 2010, 08:30:18 PM
I've just bought the above car and wanted to know what the best options are to enable proper connectivity for my iPhone 3GS to the stereo (to use as Music Player and for phone integration through stereo speakers).

Seems to be various things listed on the forums, would prefer a proper cable wiring into the back of the stereo; is this possible?

There is no 'all in one' solution as the iPhone can't take calls using the dock (USB) connector.

The only way to do it is to add a iPod connector via the back of the Jazz's radio (check first the iPod kit will work with the iPhone) and then add a separate Bluetooth kit for phone use.

Yes there is an all in one solution  :D

I have just fitted a Parrot MKi9200 to my 04 plate Jazz S

You can play all your music through the speakers, and the Parrot has a built in amplifier and equaliser.
You can make and recieve calls that come through the speakers.
And it also charges the Iphone.

Bought mine from Amazon think it was £150, and its way better than the fm transmiter things.
