Has someone messed about with the page layout of the forum? Or has my computer had a hiccup?
If it was done on purpose, it is a much poorer layout. :'(

Looks identical on my computer...
-
Looks the same to me too. Just wish the typeface was bigger.

On a computer press Ctrl+ (and Ctrl- to make it smaller).

And 'Ctrl' '0' ( zero ) to take screen back to default size.
You can also hold down 'Ctrl' and use the wheel on the mouse to make screen larger and smaller

Looks OK to me, but remember it is a free forum - run by a volunteer ( Richard A ) - 'nothing to complain about here'..

When I joined and up to a few days ago the items were listed on the left, as they are now, but the pinned items had details of recent comments on the right. All there is now is a pushpin symbol.
Likewise the articles. Listed down the left side with 'NEW' , if new comments, but the right side is completely blank, whereas it used to have names of recent contributors???

Things haven't changed on my PC.
However, on my tablet, I see more info in landscape mode, including the last contributor on each forum.
In portrait mode, I see only the list of forum titles with a brief description of each.
EDIT: This hasn't changed, it was like that before.

Great - many thanks - on a Mac I think it's Command instead of Ctrl.

I'm using a Macbook Air so it's in landscape. I used to get exactly what you said in your first para. Now I get what you see in portrait? WEIRD!

No difference to me..... :)

I'm awaiting a reply from the Webmeister.

Please posts forum help topics in the Site Help forum as I automatically get an email when new topics are posted there.
The layout is designed to be responsive to allow it to be usable on mobile devices. If the size of the browser window is reduced in width, the layout will shrink to fit and some items removed. This forum software was released ten years ago and feature locked back in 2007, smartphones and tablets as we know now were not factored into the development so this is a work around solution.
If this doesn't solve the problem please attach a screenshot and let me know what browser you are using (if it's not Safari).

Perfectly OK on my Samsung Tablet and nothings changed recently that I've noticed.

I have not noticed any changes in appearance of the forum, since I've joined. I mostly use a Huwaei Android tablet in Landscape mode to view the forum.

Many thanks Richard,
I have solved the problem!
My Macbook Air often decides to alter things without any input from me. It has often woken up and removed my chosen home page photo and gone back the the stock 'Catalina' picture.
It often logs me out of all the websites on which I have chosen to 'stay logged in'.
This time, what had happened was that although the text size was normal the page size had been increased without me doing anything and this caused the screen to appears as below.
I think the little Macmonsters come out to play when I turn it off!

Many thanks.

Excellent. Good to hear.
My Macbook Pro is almost ten years old and is running High Sierra as Apple no longer issue new macOS versions for this generation.
