Well, it could be rubbed down and repainted if it was my own, but I wouldn't want to be buying them like that!

What happened to your own trims Jocko, gone or had it? I can't remember.

They are lying in the back of the garage. A couple are better than that example, and a couple are worse. Someone at some time must have had difficulty determining how far they were from the kerb every time they parked the car.

You want to see the chewed up front alloys on the daughter's, ex driving school car...  ;D

Don't think the next owner was too particular either. I'm certainly going to have to do something with one of them, continually putting air in now, but I think it's probably corrosion down the valve stem. I'll have to have a look now the weather's getting better.

I Saw Honda stick on wheel centres so thought I may go down this route:

Thanks, UKjim

Do you know, I didn't fancy the 'Goodyear' badges and had exactly the same thought  ;)

I decided to go down the wheel trim route, so I wire brushed the dodgy wheel and lashed some black Hammerite on it. I have ordered the wheel trims and the Honda badges.

The rest of the wheels are passable and won't need painting.

The wheel trims arrived today, and they are rather swish. They are official Goodyear licenced merchandise and seem exceptionally good quality.

The Honda logos are a while away. They must be coming directly from China.

Are they self adhesive? Do you trust the sticky?

They are indeed. The ones I got for the Volvo stuck like s**t to a blanket.

They were stuck to plastic plugs I bought for the wheel centres.

Here is the story so far.

The first one was a pig to get on, particularly for a septuagenarian who ended up lying on the ground to do the job. However, once I got the knack of that one, the rest were straight forward. I don't think they will come off in a hurry.

To top it all, after doing the job, I came home to find the postman had deposited the Honda badges through the letterbox!

Looking good fella.  8) Aside from the OSR arch, that car doesn't look it's age.
