My Honda Jazz 2014 recently starts fine but after a short journey will not start again although the engine cranks. Honda can not find what the fault is but have now suggested replacing the fuse box at a cost of £1,620. Has anybody had any similar problems and does this seem a reasonable suggestion and price from Honda?

Welcome. I'd try an auto electrician first. Tell them what Honda said. Then I would try another Honda dealer.

That's a good idea.
Many thanks for the reply.

Crank and camshaft sensors can start failing: ok when cold, don't work when warm.
First port of call - need an auto electrician to test when engine is warm

These sensors don't always show an error code in the ECU when faulty. It could also be failing coil packs unless these have been changed recently, again, these don't always show up error codes either. It definitely needs a good investigation by someone competent.

And any SEMI competent auto electrician will be aware of what you have posted.
My advice to the OP: the people you used are not semi competent.
(If I - a non mechanic , non auto electrician- know about the above, the people you used must be numpties.. It's fairly common knowledge when doing diagnostics.)
