I drove our Octavia a total of 688 miles in one day on a road trip in 2012. I wouldn't be able to do that in a Jazz

Or in a full electric :)
Let's be careful out there !

Just on Octavias, used a lot by taxi firms all over Europe. A testament to their longevity.

Indeed. The old 1.9 TDi has clocked up 500k+ in a lot of vag cars, including the Octavia. Legendary engines in low BHP tune.  :) Such a shame VAG cannot make them like that anymore.

Agreed. Range is a real problem with electric cars right now. On that trip from the Czech Republic to Dunkirk, I wouldn't have been able to cope with all the recharing needed with a 200 miles range. My old Octavia needed one refill at an Aral station in Germany after 500 miles, and that tank then got us back to Suffolk.   :D

Talking about tyres, is it possible to fit tyres which are a bit more 'offroad'? I don't mean real offroad stuff, just tyres wich look a little bit more tough. Maybe something like the tyres of a Cross Polo. I really like that look haha.

I performed a Google search, but could't really find such tyres.
