Finnish Skyride Blue Jazz 1.5 Dynamic
« on: May 16, 2020, 02:57:17 AM »
My new Skyride Blue Jazz 1.5 Dynamic just arrived.

In case you wonder, due to the car being private import, my Jazz does not have proper licence plates yet. Instead there are temporary stickers allowing to use the car when Finnish bureucracy is processing the car tax, which may take couple of months.

Lovely Car ! looks sharp in that trim.

Not many Honda Jazz in Scandinavia. Got mine last spring just before the dealership closed down.
I´m a little bit worried about the future for Honda small cars here in Denmark.
Everybody looking for German or French cars especially the young folks.
The new MK 4 hybrid stars at 30.000 and that's not going to help out the situation .

I know your going to be happy with that car ;)

cheers from Copenhagen

Beautiful car. Showed pictures to my wife and she said that is the colour for our next one.
Love the black wheels

Smashing colour.

Not normally a fan of black wheels, but that looks rather smart with the body colour.

Thenk you!

Yes, I agree, that the Dynamic trim piano black wheels look good with this colour and matches with other piano black details of the car. The Skyride Blue Metallic paint also highlights the car body contours.

Some things don't develope better. I would describe Jazz's key as colossal, so huge, heavy and bulky it is. There are ways to the make car keys smaller and lighter, even with the remote central locking buttons included. I can't imagine what an earth Honda has been thinking.

In case you don't lose them! Also to show off you now have a Honda to your friends! Enjoy, many happy miles of motoring. Would you be fitting Winter tyres?

Yes, sure the car will be fitted with winter tyres. I'll get 15" wheels for that as higher profile is better for winter. I'm pondering if I'd buy 185/60R15, which is the original size in Trend and Comfort trims, or go to even higher profile 185/65R15.

Honda should have offered the Mk4 Hybrid Jazz in this colour, the colours being offered in Europe are very dull.

When dealer mounted Honda accessory towbar, they installed the electric socked rather low and far from the bumper. See first picture. That leaves it very visible and also vulnarable when for example reversing to a snow bank.

I like the socket to be close to bumper and high enough to be less prone to damage. There are various different bolt-on positions for the socket, so it was easy to move to better position. See the second picture. It could be even more under the bumper, but I have to think how that could be done.

I decided to move the socket further under the bumper. It is also some centimeters lower than previously, but still not as low as the hitch structure. Changing the location better than that would require new socket mounting plate, so I think I am happy now. I also changed the electrozinced M5 socket mounting screws and nuts to stainless ones.

Could you make a photo from the bottom?
I'd like to install detachable towbar and no one in Poland knows what part of bumper must be cutted.
