Friend said a piece of 2mm polished stainless steel 620mm x 120mm would nearly be considered an offcut, but working on a 3000mm x 1200mm sheet, would cost R 35 a piece (about £6 for both). He said I should measure the profile with moulding clay, then his bending machine would calculate the profile and bend it. This part would be free. They can even etch "Jazz" or "Honda" on it if I can provide an image of the word or logo.
He has made horizontal and vertical counter tops for McDonalds where they had to make a raised surround and etch the big "M" onto the shiny surface. The bending machine even makes a lip so two lengths can fit flush with each other.
