The latest issue of What Car? magazine carries a massive group test of the new VW Polo against most rivals, including of course the Jazz. So I had to have a quick flick through in Sainsbury's this morning!
No surprises that What Car picked the Polo - it does after all have
that badge and nice interior plastics
, with the Ford Fiesta and Renault Clio following behind. The Jazz 1.4 ES got a four star rating and came fourth ahead of the Hyundai i20, Seat Ibiza, Skoda Fabia, Vauxhall Corsa, Toyota Yaris and Mazda2 (sorry, can't remember the exact order of the last four but the Mazda2 came last with a two star rating). Not surprising to see What Car slowly starting to be positive about the Jazz after initially being less than favourable at launch; they did the same when the GD Jazz was launched in 2002!
