Parking Sensor 'Beep' too quiet
« on: January 05, 2023, 10:15:58 PM »
Picked up my new to me Sport today and I find the parking sensor beep volume very low, is there anyway to increase it?

I don’t think there is a volume adjustment, just on or off. I’m not sure where the bleeper is positioned - perhaps something is muffling it? You also have a visual signal in the small screen.

On the 8G Civic there were 2 different rear parking sensor kits.

One was designed for under dash so was quieter and the other was designed for boot mounting so louder.

Just guessing on your install though
Let's be careful out there !

I know this doesn’t make any sense but after replacing the complete Honda infotainment unit with an Alpine Wireless CarPlay headunit my parking sensor beep seems to be louder, no idea how that's possible.
