Hello, I have the same problem in my Jazz. Bad idle on D,S,L and sometimes is delay in drive away.

I think because of low idle rpm on D computer moves AT on N then if You release the brakes it back to D. (without changing indication on dashboard) but why?

I checked restistance of all speed sensors and seleoinds it’s ok.
I did starting clutch procedure calibration. (Engine idling verry bad during the procedure)
Idle rpm on N or P its ok.
Cvt fluid is new oem Honda.

Have any of You found a solution?
Maybe its coilpacks causing the poor idle and hence causing a bad misfire?

  • My Honda: Jazz 1.4 CVT 2008:
Idling is bad only on D, S or L not allways and during the start clutch procedure.
There is no faults in computer.
I did idle speed inspection - its ok.
All 8 spark plugs are new NGK.

The worst thing for me is the delay in moving off.

Listen at the exhaust when you've just started the vehicle to hear for misfires.
Misfires don't always throw a code

And likewise. A Misfire code doesn't always feel or sound like a misfire. I have had repeated misfire codes and the engine has never missed a beat.

How did you resolve that misfire or was it something else resulting in a misfire code incorrectly being triggered?

I replaced a leaking exhaust box. However, just in the last couple of months it very occasionally came up again. One of the reasons I scrapped it.
