Problems with speed sensor

Hello guys,

I am on this forum and apologize, if that topic was already discussed.
When the outside temperature is more than 10°C, my speed sensor stop working. In winter works normal. The pointers for speed is at 0 all the time and tacho is not working. My mechanic has connected the car to computer and the problem is speed sensor. Is there any way to clean connecor? Or must I change sensor? That part of the car is very hard reachable...
