Honda Jazz 2005 boot lock
« on: April 06, 2021, 12:27:54 PM »
New to forum. ;D
I recently bought a jazz, great car but problems with the locks. I have fixed the drivers door lock now so that it works correctly.
However the boot does not lock neither on central locking nor key. I have bought an actuator off ebay but am unsure of how easy/ difficult it may be to change after watching some youtube videos? Surely I do not have to take the wiper motor out??
Can anyone advise me please?

Fixed the boot lock quite easily with a part from ebay for about £15.
The screws holidng the lock ln were quite stiff and on the mech the central locking lever was flicked on so the boot handle (cable) part of the mech was disabled. Once I worked it out I flicked the lever back and evrrything works okay. Took about half an hour! :D
