Yippee !

At crack fo dawn, I found my wheel nut key less than 30m from front door lying in the street.

Locking wheel nuts to come and and original nuts to go on later today.

Excellent news

Well done that man! I nearly said that if you were going to find it, it would be near the house... but I didn't want to dampen your enthusiasm.

Happy days! Now get rid of 'em!  ;)

I have found some wheel nuts on Ebay that look to be the correct size. M12 x 1.5, 19mm.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M12-x-1-5-19mm-Hex-Radius-Seat-Alloy-Wheel-Nuts-for-Honda-cars-Set-of-4-/171660075278

Do you think these are the right ones??

Thanks.

They are zinc plated, the original ones are normally chromium plated.
They are radius seat which I think is correct for OEM alloys.

How about a matching full set in Chrome for £13.99 delivered?

They're nice and shiny!  8)

They'll be nicking the nuts and leaving the alloys behind!

I know this is sorted now, but seems a wide range of prices for a new key.  On our 2014 mk2 it went missing for a while and Cheshire Oaks Honda charged £9 for a replacement - and they were completely hard-faced when I asked for a price on a set of wipers, so I didn't get the impression they were doing us a favour.

;D Acutaly, I've not yet ordered them. I need to, but you know how it goes. I'll get it done soon.

Weirdly, my 2003 Astra MK4 has locking wheel nuts. Who on earth would want to steal them? They have minor corrosion and are actualy in good nick, but the tyres are Chinese and not worth much. The Honda however has Michelin ES with 5mm of tread, so are worth something!
