Lead time. New jazz ex
« on: August 06, 2020, 05:21:38 PM »
What is the lead time on the new Jazz. I fell for a new EX and told I won't see it for, about, 9 weeks.

At the end of June there were vehicles in stock and more due in August. However, it's quite plausible that they've all been bought ready for the new registration period.

If you want one quickly then look for an ex-demonstrator. There are several available in early September https://usedcars.honda.co.uk/en/used-cars/approved-cars/all-brands/all-models?country=gb&lat=&lon=&unitSystem=imperial&currency=GBP&currentSearch=honda&customer=&manufacturer=21&price_type_switch=price&price_to=&monthlyRate_to=&reg_date_from=&km_to=&manufacturer=21&model=2139&gears=&gas=&zip=W10&radius=5000&warrantyProgram=22&build=&doors_grouped=&color=#result-tools-top . This one https://usedcars.honda.co.uk/en/used-cars/approved-cars/honda/jazz/15-i-mmd-107ps-ex-pbcblac is available now (the MOT checker shows that it was registered on 22nd May and not the 1st March showing in the listing).

I wonder how early sales are going. I have received three emails, two letters and a phone call on Tuesday evening pushing the new Jazz.

Interesting. My local dealer is making all sorts of offers on the new Jazz including 5 years free servicing, low cost PCP deals etc etc.

Whether that means consumer reaction has been lukewarm (no manual available) or whether it is just a reflection of the state of the economy generally is not clear.

My Dundee dealer seems to be selling them for fun. Difficult to get any discount. Got 4% by using CSMA Griffin. Was wanting a crosstar but NO discount on them. Collection now mid/late September. I'll check for discounts in the area and renegotiate. Wish me luck

There are some ex-desmonstrators on sale https://usedcars.honda.co.uk/en/used-cars/approved-cars/all-brands/all-models?country=gb&unitSystem=imperial&currency=GBP&currentSearch=honda&price_type_switch=price&reg_date_from=2019&manufacturer=21&model=2139&zip=W10&radius=5000&warrantyProgram=22&sort=price:ASC#result-tools-top . The list currently includes a white Crosstar for £20k for anyone who wants a trip to Blackpool and a two-tone red Crosstar in Wolverhampton for £21500 (but not available until 1st October) but most vehicles are much closer to list prices.

The 4% is OK. Carwow couldn't better it but this forum is showing better offers. I'm phoning dealers near to see if they can beat it
