Who said it was?
Somehow - you

I responded to SebastianD's question about replacement intervals of the cam belt (the Jazz has a chain with no inspection / maintenance / replacement scheduled in the manual / service plan).

You responded by mentioning that valve clearance is due to be checked at 75'000 m / 120'000 km
(imho thereby "implying" the cam drive belt / chain inspection).

Maybe I interpreted too much into your terse one-liner - my fault!

I actually replied to Sebastiand before you, who asked about valve clearance checking... which I found in the manual. Nothing to do with the cam belt/chain.
It was me who mentioned that I would be asking about the cam belt when I took the car in for its 4th service. There was never an implication that Sebastiand's comment about valve clearances, and my comment about cam belt were connected. Go back through the thread and see.
