Mobile Phone Holder
« on: June 20, 2011, 06:19:27 PM »
I was very impressed by my friend's Iphone holder for his VW transporter. It was made by a Spanish company called Brodit and the beauty of it is that it is mounted without needing to drill/modify the dash. It is model specific for each car, holds the phone very well and allows it to rotate through 180 degrees. Brodit do make one for the Jazz (mine is the 2002 model CVT) but I'm not keen where in the car it is positioned. Its mounted near on the drinks holder, a bit low for my liking. Here is the link:

What do you guys recommend/use?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing that Ozzie,
I see the practicality of such a holder but would prefer not to have anything stuck to the windscreen unless its a sat nav.

I`ve a self-adhesive Sat nav disk, eg: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TomTom-Dashboard-Mount-Holder-Suction-Disk-/400197735258?pt=UK_CE_GPS_Accessories_Software_ET&hash=item5d2da4d35a just above the middle vent grills on the dashboard and the GPS is attached to it. So is not on the windscreen but up on the right place.
