Jazz 2019 EX CVT install 3rd party apps
« on: June 02, 2019, 06:45:09 PM »
Good afternoon,

recently I got my brand new 2019 Jazz EX CVT (not Navi) and started reading about how to install 3rd party apps but up till now, everything I tried was unsuccessful.
I can access APK files of a usb stick and even renamed the app to HondaAppCenter_A1.APK but the "install" button remains greyed out and even from the Honda connect app, I can't seem to find any apps that it's able to install.

Is there a way to make it happen or am I doomed to be with a locked down version of Android and the ability to use Waze.

Thank you

Unfortunately the back door install of other APK  files on the latest jazz as been closed. Don't think there's any way around it.

This post suggests that it was possible to install 3rd party apps to earlier models, if so how was it done?
I have  2016 EX CVT,  what apps are available for this model and where do I find them?
Many thanks in advance.

I hope that this method still works for your model
