central locking query

hi all

i have a 53 reg Jazz 1.4 i-DSi S, the basic model with central locking but NOT remote locking and was wondering if remote central locking was possible as is, without having to buy any new parts etc.

is all the CL system there in place for me just to purchase a fob and have it coded?

Fit an aftermarket one, such as this, for £19.99 inc p&p.

I have this very thing on my other car and it is excellent. The Jazz with key-operated central locking should take it fine as it has the lock motors on all doors.

I actually have a spare one: I bought another one for my parent's Hyundai, but rather stingily the Matrix does not have the lock motor on the driver's door. The CL on said car only operates via the drivers door. There was no point fitting it if all doors open except the driver's...
