Jazz MY24
« on: April 13, 2023, 05:33:05 PM »
The updated MY24 owners manual and navigation manual is available for inspection.

Unless I'm reading it wrong it looks like there is still a B gear selection and paddles to perform regeneration temorarily when in D

Let's be careful out there !

The paddles won't be tempting me if they are like the E. I find they are not as good as foot off the accelrator in one pedal mode even when clicking 3 times, you drive on and have to start clicking down 3 times again at the next required slow down and then still need the brake, its like changing down gears without the hassle of having a clutch or reaching for the gear stick. If you like the Jazz because its an automatic they don't add much to the driving experience for me.

Also noticed, no mention of the colour audio, just the display audio now.

I certainly won't be changing mine before the 5 year service plan is up. It will be the longest I have ever owned a car, but nothing in the facelift version convinces me it will be better... apart from the colour choices that may be different to what I considered a very limited and dull choice when I bought my model.

That’s because the then SE / comfort grade is no longer offered. That was the only grade that had the 5in colour audio.

Also the Dutch specifications are online. The regenerative flappy paddles are only for the Advance Sport; for the other specs it remains as is.
If I had to make my choice now, it would be harder: I tend to the Advance Sport instead of a Crosstar. Reasons: also decent wheels, I like the yellow stitching and it is a bit more economic than the Crosstar. Moreover I drive in D all the time and sometimes switch to B, but find it hard to anticipate optimally. B is too aggressive while D is not enough; I would appreciate these flaps!

What strikes me most: consumption and performance figures are nearly identical. Where did the extra 10 kW go?  ::)

Adding flappy panels to the sport seems a good marketing ploy to try and tempt younger buyers - they wll think they have something useful like an F1 car  ;)

Same here keeping mine with my 5 year service plan. Just changed my EX in November to another EX for next to nothing overall. I think car is even better now.

Why do they still fit the low power boot light when the LED is so much better.

The new Advance seems just the same as the current EX - completely the same interior as far as I can see. Same trim material, no paddles and white accents on the cupholders and gearshift console. I am not sure that I like the exterior facelift styling at all; the original seems to me much purer to me.

Like many others, car nearly two years old and plan to keep for five years as I have the 5 servicing plan.

Also, it appears they have deleted the premium sound system on the Crosstar. It wasn’t an influencing factor when I bought the car but I have been pleasantly surprised how good it is and wouldn’t want to be without it.

If the dealer were to offer a trade-in deal with five year servicing for about £4500, I'd be sorely tempted.

I'd be concerned that the sport model would be in a higher insurance category.

But they don't have any for a week or two.

I wonder what Blackpool Honda have about Jazz wheels ?

Why do they have to zoom in on all 4, surely just one would do.
