Stereo change Halfords??
« on: October 28, 2019, 04:27:15 PM »
Hi , i have had my 2010 Jazz for a few weeks now and getting on great !!
My am thinking of  an upgraded stereo , having looked around online i have found some complete kits for the surround and head unit for about £220ish ( the stereo is unbranded android unit ).
I have also seen a couple on Halfords site with a similar all in fitted price .
Has anyone had one fitted by Halfords and were they any good ? , the fitting process i mean !
Thanks for the help

I had a head unit fitted by Halfords (in my Cavalier). Fitting was okay but they connected it to the ignition instead of the Aux, so I could only play it when I was driving. They also got a dirty mark on my seat, but it sponged off okay.

I would think Halfords will be the same as any other quick-fit type places - a mixed bag.

There will be individuals working for Halfords who are really professional and do a fantastic job, but conversely, there will be some numpties who don't know what day it is. Pot luck.
