Rev counter 2003 Jazz
« on: September 28, 2009, 02:47:11 PM »
Was wondering if anybody had experienced same or similar problem. Was out driving when realised my rev counter was stuck at 1800revs. Managed to get it back down to zero but obviously not been able to solve the problem. As you all know, the rev counter is part of a cluster so don't want to change lot and lose my very low mileage car just for the sake of a rev counter, but wondered if anyone knew of a simple fix/solution that I may have missed?

Thanks  ;D

Would appear to be an electrical prob in the idle speed control or the throttle potentiometer.

Either way you would need an electrical mechanic to have a look and see what part is faulty.
