Title: green dash light not showing
Post by: charles yates on January 19, 2022, 10:40:46 AM
hi there my brother has just rang me it seems his 2018 jazz no longer shows a green light under light load driving conditions it just seems to stay in blue mode ,can anyone throw a light on a possible problem ,could it be related to the i vtec being stuck or some other fueling problem ,his last oil change was 7000mls ago he said he just took the revs up to 4000 [ i dont think he knows what the right peddle is really for ] and after decelerating it no longer showed green ,even on over-run ,ive never come across the problem and i regularly accelerate past 4000 and onward to 6000 sometimes to keep the motor knowing who is in charge of the right foot peddle , any info or input will be passed on

If you are talking about the ambient meter, it is configurable.  See page 133 of the user manual.

Check settings on multi-function display: Customized settings -> Meter Setup-> Fuel Efficiency Backlight

I never found it much use, and a distraction, so I set it to be permanently blue.
