Strange Noise 2012 jazz ivtec

Hi everyone, just received my second hand jazz a month ago with 48000k on the clock. after driving a few days I notice strange noise coming from the enjin. not sure if is water pump or one of the pulley. I checked with AC on and off but still can't figure out.its like grinding noise. sometime its loud. anyone might have some clue?

it seems bearing noise. so alternator and what else has bearing? and how costly it is? its seems the previous owner didn't mention about if is still under warranty.

still checking for noisy bearing.
 also i just notice my (GE6 JHM) jazz using parts from different countries. cables from china, front seat belt from Thailand, head lights from Taiwan. Back seat belts from japan. it suppose to be fully Japanese made. anyone notice this or have the same senario like mine

Does the noise change with road speed or engine speed? Better/worse in a specific gear (or neutral), clutch in or out, engine cold or warm?

its at idle and also while engine running regardless of a/c on or off. I know it coming from one of the moving pulleys where the belt is running. and also it's not all the time. some time is completely silence.

Use something like a long handled screwdriver, put the handle against your ear and the other end on a non-moving part close to the pulley.  In this way the sound is amplified and you should be able to identify where it is coming from.

But please take care of the moving parts by keeping your clothing, hair etc. away from them.  I wouldn't want to be responsible for you injuring yourself.

It seems is coming from either water pump or alternator. there is very little gap between them. will keep monitor this.
