Wing mirror covers?
« on: July 24, 2015, 07:45:25 PM »
Greetings, I just bought my Jazz (2004) and the drivers wing mirror case has a crack in it. Are there any covers available that just snap over it?

I noticed there are some on ebay but they are for 2008+ models.

Thanks

Toby

Hello and welcome Toby.

Looking at the parts diagram for the mirror, it would seem the mirror case is a complete unit on the 2004 models and doesn't consist of a head with a separate cap.

That's not to say there aren't aftermarket caps, but the only ones I could find were carbon fibre ones which aren't particularly cheap.

Either repair the crack and repaint it, or find another from a scrap car the right colour.

What colour is it as I may have a spare that you could just replace the whole thing with.  It requires undoing three 10mm nuts that hold the wing mirror on and unclipping the electric cables, simple job <30mins to do.

Regards,

Andrew
