Having just purchased a Honda Jazz Elegance vtec cvt from a Honda dealer in Granda Spain I was told the paddles on the steering wheel only operated when the car was in S drive ..they do not work in D drive .I was told by the dealer that this is the latest spec for the car and that Honda had changed the spec in March 2013,
Is this true ?

The paddle shift works perfect in s drive in d drive it shows the gear that you are in but as soon as you press the accelorater in goes back into drive
