Ok noob question about CVT

basically what is it? is it fully auto or is it tipstronic? (auto with manual w/out clutch).

CVT is Continually variable transmission, fully automatic. Putting it simply, a traditional gearbox has gears, think of this as steps on the stairs, CVT is basically a slide, a lot smoother, no gear changes, just one variable gear.
