Tough little car
« on: October 24, 2010, 08:18:08 PM »
This is my Jazz after my Dad ran it head on into a tree at about 20mph. He got out of the car unaided straight after the impact with some bruising and a burn on his hand from the airbag. The car is a write off but it certainly did its job of protecting the driver in an impact.

Ouch!! Hope your dad is ok.

Incidentally, are you what your user name are? ie car breaker and if so, you breaking your dad's Jazz?

What model is it? Reason I ask is that I'm looking for the 16" alloys from the EX model.

Might be interested in other parts as well.

THanks

Gary

Not intended in any way as a comment on Jazz crash safety but as an observation on ANY car... just imagine if it was at 40mph into the tree... or 2 cars headon each doing 20mph! Pleased your Dad is OK. Thanks for posting it.

Hope your Dad is OK.

Any update on dealing with the insurers? Is the car being replaced or did they offer a fair payout?
