I've just bought a Viofo 119 Mini after quite a lot of recommendations on here and elsewhere for the Viofo 119 V3, which seems to be a reliable and stable dashcam with several years of production. I only really went for the Mini to get the wi-fi and voice prompt features, there are one or two other minor menu options, technically they are similar otherwise.
I did consider the issue of front/rear cameras and decided like Jocko that if I want a rear cam I'll fit a separate one, quite possibly a V3.
I posted in another thread that after some trepidation I ordered from Viofo direct (China)
https://viofo.com/ due to good price reduction compared to either the UK outlet or other retailers. The order and delivery went seamlessly with excellent tracking info updated daily, order to delivery took only a little over a week. If you do order from abroad bear in mind the customs limit of £135, my order was just below this so there was no duty to pay, simple Post Office delivery. For example they have the V3 dashcam at under £80 at present (it varies with exchange rates), You might want to consider a hardwire kit and polarising filter but you can get away without, just using the supplied USB adapter kit. Note there is no SD card supplied, I bought a dashcam durable type elsewhere (Picstop, Sandisk 128
https://www.picstop.co.uk/dash-cam-memory.html , it's always worth registering for blurb as you usually get a 10% discount code or similar).
