Mine is coming up for 16 years old with 148,000 miles on the clock and it is as sweet now as it was when I bought it 60,000 miles ago. Only let me down once, a few weeks after I bought it, but the RAC man fitted a new battery and it has gone great since. I replaced the gearbox shaft bearing and it has had a couple of suspension bits and a brake pipe for subsequent MOTs but it is still on the brake pads and discs it had when I got it.

Yes 2009 ES I-shift 117,000 miles. The clutch actuator failed twice and gear actuator recently. Clutch was changed two yrs ago with the driveshaft. The left window switch and nothing else.

The Jazz I have just bought is 14 years old but it is 11 years newer than the car I sold to buy it.
Doesn’t feel like 14 years old at all. Not even half that to be honest!

Ours is a 2005 SE which I bought in 2013 for my eldest lad when it was 8 years old and had around 80,000 miles on it. It’s now used by my youngest lad as a van for his tiling business. It’s now approaching 130,000 miles and, as you would expect having been driven by two lads, it has seen some damage. Only yesterday the back box fell off and was replaced by a local garage for £99. It still runs well and I expect we'll see a few more years out of it yet.

Sticky rear windows on driver side not uncommon, first check both switches.
Check battery charge up if necessary, then park in Sun for half a day, it should spring into life.

I try and remember to open and close both rear windows every time I drive , just to keep them from seizing. I read on here that it’s a common issue seeing as they don’t get used as much as the front two windows.

It makes a great van. During the time we were preparing and moving house mine was configured as a van. For that period of about 3 months, it carried everything from bags of cement to bags of rubbish. Oh yes, and cats.

in 2006 I bought a 2003 Jazz 1.4 SE with about 6,000 miles on it, in 2019 I replaced it with a Civic and sold it on to a workmate, by then it had about 80,000 miles, he regularly travels the country in it, its now on about 110,000 miles I think, I still do some of the servicing on it for him and its still running great, he's very happy with it and wants to buy my Civic when/if I'm selling it.
