Activating Honda+ App Subscription

All was going well activating my subscription (if rather involved) but the final (?) stage says to sit in car with ignition on for 'up to twenty minutes' to complete the process.  After 40 minutes of 'Pending' I gave up.  Is this normal?  Any suggestions as to how to finalise tis operation please?

Two days ago I tried for over 30 minutes to finalise my signing up to the Honda+ app. 3 times I got an error message. Gave them a 1* rating on Playstore and received a very prompt communication from honda.eu to which I replied.
Yesterday I finally managed to complete the exercise!!
All I need now is the b****y car!!

You need a car to install it.  Are we talking about the same app?

This all seems to be far too much trouble for what it’s worth.

Seems Honda have really screwed up on this one, I for one will definitely not be pursuing as I can’t even get the WiFi hotspot sorted out via phone…….at the end of the day it’s about having a reliable car to get from A to B without paying for all this superfluous hassle and gimmicks!

As our dealer said when we bought the car: Don't even think about it, it's not worth the money....

As our dealer said when we bought the car: Don't even think about it, it's not worth the money....

Interesting mine said that it's great and that many customers had reported back to say how useful it was!

I don't remember having any trouble getting MyHonda+ to work.

The most useful feature of the app for me is to be able to search for a location in the app and have it sent to the cars navigation before I leave the house.

I have used the app to check that the car is locked. I always have to refresh the app to get it read the current status.

It is the Honda+ app and it says that it can be installed without a car and you can keep up with all the latest Honda news (Whoopee!) But of course you need a car to link with it, if and when Honda Logistics decide to get off their bums and deliver it to my dealer! :'(
I don't know about the Jazz but the hotspot connection on the HR-V costs £49p.a. from day one. No thank you!

Could the problem be that iIf it's like the Garmin satnav then it can't handle a post code if you omit the space in the middle?
