Honda jazz seat heating
« on: December 24, 2021, 07:20:17 PM »
Dear Members!
My problem is that I have a 2009 Honda Jazz car, which has no seat heater, more precisely the wiring harness is under the seat, but there is no on button. My question would be if it is possible to do the wiring at home. Thank you for your reply.
Yours sincerely, Lászl󠌥itgeb

They often use the same wiring harness for every car.  But your seats may only be connected to some wires ,such as seat belt sensors.  Your seats  might not  have the necessary  heating wires built into in their  upholstery.

Even if they are heated seats  you need to be very careful wiring them up as they draw a lot of amps.  If the incorrect switches, additional wiring, fuse etc is used ,or they are wired wrongly things could melt and be a fire hazard.

Car makers dont always publish suitable free wiring diagrammes . Professional auto electricians usually pay annual fees to access such data.

You may not still be able to get the parts new from Honda. The best bet might be to get used parts from a car breaker.  Even complete seats if necessary.
