Inaccurate clock
« on: March 24, 2010, 09:43:12 PM »
Silly question but has anyone else noticed their clock losing time?

I can't remember when I last adjusted it so let's say it was when the clocks went back - and now it is three or four minutes slow. In my world, being four minutes late for a meeting is at best discourteous to my customers.

Yes, I know the clocks go forward this weekend so there is my chance to get it right again but I just wondered why it is becoming inaccurate in the first place?

Any ideas/experience of this irritation please?

I have the same. Mine is about 2 minutes slower in each month or 5 weeks. I always set it 5 minutes forward, so in the worst case it`s equal with the correct time.

This topic has been quiet for some time. I noticed my 2010 Jazz EX has the same problem. A friend who runs a Vauhall Safira says his clock is radio controlled. Surely the Honda Jazz clock is similarly kept to the correct time.
I have scoured the driver's handbook but can find nothing on this. Isn't it about time someone from Honda addressed this?

Both my EX's have kept (more or less) accurate time except for having to change as clocks move for winter and summer time.

I have two honda Jazzes and yes both suffer with inaccurate time keeping - usually a couple of minutes out but no more, not much of a bother really to me, just kind of got used to it

My EX's clock is currently 10 seconds slow. I think I can live with that.
