« Last post by jazzyb88 on May 24, 2024, 11:41:01 PM »Quick update: Joying unit installed and as UKjim mentioned the whole installation was plug and play right down to the steering wheel controls. In total took me about 90 mins to install and maybe another 1 hour to play around and understand the settings, only to conclude the best option is just to use Android Auto or Carplay 
Also, the seller included the extra factory usb port connector and I'm pleased to say that for me at least, both ports work to charge our phones and connect to Android Auto or Carplay.

The noise turns off when the petrol engine starts. At 13 mph I also feel like the EV noise is louder than petrol engine noise at the same speed.
Also in some cars the EV noise is louder when reversing, so that pedestrians behind the car can hear it more easily, since the noise comes from the front of the car.

While i am not new to Honda cars, Jazz is my first Honda that is not a Civic.
Ones i drove a Volkswagen, and that was the only no Honda on my name.
When i brought my Civic for service, they gave me a Jazz to drive home, to work.
Ones they gave me a Jazz that was a cool one. With a little engine, it was not slow at all.
A longtime ago i got a Jazz mk1 for getting mobile, so i drove also a yellow Logo.
The good experience was key to change my Civic for a Jazz.
My first own Jazz is a white one.
To ad a first personalization, i bought custom car mats.
While i am not new to Honda cars, Jazz is my first Honda that is not a Civic.

« Last post by JB on May 24, 2024, 06:09:54 PM »I've just come off the phone to my Honda dealer. I bought a new Jazz last October. I got a three year warranty and three year Honda assistance.
I took out a five year service plan for £799, and I was told by the dealer that took the Honda assistance to five years. Honda assistance told me that I have three years, Dealer said that when it is booked in for third service it will be extended to five years with no cost (if I tell them). I also asked about the guarantee. They said three years on mechanical and five years on the hybrid system. The service plan does not include perishable parts. They also said that the guarantee / breakdown / service can all be renewed at end of five years, at cost.
