Dirty Jazz!
« on: August 23, 2021, 09:27:18 AM »
Spotted this in our local Waitrose yesterday.  :o

How can anyone do that to such a nice car? I would love to have a bash at cleaning it, just imagine the before and after photos!  :D

You certainly would not expect that in a Waitrose carpark disgusting, should have there Waitrose card withdrawn.

Probably greenies who don't agree with using car cleaning products  :o ( and trying to turn a blue car green ).

That car is a mobile ecosystem.

That was pretty much the colour of my first Civic ( Brighton Blue ).
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

My Jazz is in a similar condition at the moment. 90 miles a day every day soon clarts it up.

A flying petri dish!

I think that would take some cleaning. Certainly a pressure washer would be required.

According to the gov.uk checker, they've had it for 3 1/2yrs! It has only done 44k too.

Obviously don't know their circumstances, but you would have thought they'd take better care of their motor. Seems very wasteful to me as it would have cost them a tidy penny to buy back then.

I would really enjoy getting that car back to presentable, extremely satisfying.

Yes. If you keep your car half decent you never get that "transformation" feeling.

I can't remember the last time my car was dirty.

Unless I like the weather it stays in the garage.
Let's be careful out there !

Many years ago, someone asked me if I'd got a new car. I replied, "No, I washed it."

Too true. Other than the wheels and brake dust, the body work doesn't look much different post wash to most folk. Thing is though, when you are into cleaning cars, you can really see the difference.

Wouldn't ever let mine get to that kind of state.
My Jazz I gave a really good clean last week (only had it a fortnight or so) and found a lot of algae growth under the door rub strips and also on the sills.
The dealer was meant to give it a good valet before delivering it to me. Makes me wonder how long it had been stood before I bought it..

I would expect no less of the Waitrose Customers I have met.
Too full of their own importance to clean their car..  8) :) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Try looking under the rear number plate sometime. That can be a bit of a shock.
