Title: Dust on the Audio/Navigation screen
Post by: Jeff15 on September 23, 2021, 11:42:55 AM: Excessive dust on the Audio/Navigation screen is a problem the screen is like a magnet for dust. Is there anything that could help reduce this..?

I already scratched my HU with microfiber
I prefer to use small blower first to blow away as much dust as possible
I found on Japanese Amazon protection film and glass for Honda Connect 9” unit for Civic 10th gen and new Vezel e:HEV I bought one to check if compatible but this of course will be not compatible for LHD cars

Just make sure the buttons are on the correct side as LHD versions seem to have the main buttons on the left, understandable.

All Japan market Honda FIT that i seen on youtube has this head unit installed.
But new Vezel (HR-V) has Honda Connect 9" from factory.
Our Head unit is Honda Connect 9"

Order delivered today, inside package 2 films

Size of film not accurate so maybe Vesel have slightly bigger screen , height is ok but lengths is 1,-2.0 mm bigger then infotainment screen and bottom corners differently shaped, openings for buttons in right position and this is film so I think it can be trimmed with sharp scissors
I ordered only to make mirrored film (will use this one to cut universal film) because what’s I ordered can be fitted only on RHD model.
