A bit too close for comfort look at nature.

This was a lot closer than it appears in the video.

Nearly venison for tea! I’ve had a similar close call with a deer driving home on a night, scary stuff.

My friend once obliterated a deer in his old Clio, bent the bonnet a fair bit and left the white paint slightly red. A Land Rover defender pulled up literally 5 minutes later and duly took possession of the deceased!

IIRC the law is that if you knock over deer, pheasant ( edible animal ) etc.  you cannot retrieve it for eating / sale,  but the guy behind can...  maybe something to do with poaching laws ?
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Blimey that was very close.  :o

I had a deer total my Pug 308 in Jan 2020. I've just checked my dashcam footage, and it was about the same size as the deer in your video, although I was doing 60mph when I hit it. I would post a photo of the damage to my car, but it is not very pleasant.

Deer are a particular problem when driving round the Scottish Highlands at night. They don't usually do stuff like this during the day, though.
