Hi All,
Just joined the forum as I bought an 02 plate 43,000 mile CVT Jazz yesterday and the forum has already saved me! I bought the car yesterday and on the test drive didn't notice the judder at low revs (1500 rpm) when holding a constant speed.
I looked on the forum and read up on two possible likely causes - one being the use of the correct CVT-F oil and one about the EGR valve.
As I had just bought the car and thought that I had major gearbox issues, I was beginning to panic - it was too late to buy CVT oil for a flush and change so I went down the EGR valve cleaning route. Two 12mm bolts, some carb cleaner and a swift tap with rubber mallet freed up the valve and I re-fitted it..my pulse rate has now returned to normal and the car is a peach.
Hope to use the forum a fair bit as I have a few things (I.C.E etc) to sort.
Thanks to all who posted their problems and I hope to be of assistance if I can help with anything.
