Front seats and their (lack of) comfort ...
« on: May 21, 2019, 10:33:47 AM »
So, everybody is different and I suspect that lots of people find the Jazz's front seats fine. However I find them very uncomfortable, as does the better half, as they noticably push into my back at each side of my spine. On a long run it was fairly painful. I was wondering if there are any different seats, maybe from the more 'sporty' model, hat are better in this regard. I've seen the thread about headrests and rake setting but this isn't that. The current seats don't even have a lumbar adjustment.

Any advice?

You can buy various aftermarket 'add-ons' for car seats,  this topic has been covered before so try a search on forum.

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Thanks for that. I did 'search' but obviously used the wrong search terms ... Have to go look at the seats now as I have plenty of cable ties ...  :-)

But ..... are the seats in the Jazz Sport different/better or are they just the same but with red stitching?

This fooled me a few times when I first tried searching and got no or very few hits.  Sometimes I find it easier to go to google or other search engine and search something like 'uncomfortable seats clubjazz' and it comes up with results.

When you search make sure that you are at the 'root' of the forum, 'Clubjazz - Honda Jazz & HRV Forums'  this means you search the whole forum.

To do this, on home page click Forum ( 3rd heading across below the black club Jazz.org banner this will take you to root of forum,  if you are already in another part of the forum when you search it will only search in that limited section.

I  just hope  that the 1.5 sport seats are as comfortable as our MK1 sport seats have been over the last 13 years as I am picking one up on Friday!
