  Anyone know the maintenance schedule and oil type on the gearbox?

Scouting around and checking....

Every 120,000 km (75,000 miles) or 8 years, halve it for "severe use" to 60,000km (37,500 miles) / 4 years.
Honda MTF-3 (or 75W GL4 Manual Transmission Fluid equivalent)
1.4 or 1.5 litres needed.
