Scratch Guard For Rear Bumper
« on: May 05, 2014, 09:38:48 PM »
Brilliant piece of kit, sticks directly on to edge/back of rear bumper
No chance of any scratches or gouges now.
Best of all it looks like it is part of the cars standard equipment.

I was thinking something that stuck on the back of the bumper, like the corner things. Then I started Googling and noticed "edge" and that got me thinking Mike meant one of these?

(No plugging or endorsement intended, clicking the image just links to the shop I pinched the photo from)

The one shown is for Mk1 Jazz, the Mk 2 version drops down over the edge of the bumper.
It does so in a way that makes it look a " natural " fitting.

www.rearguards.co.uk

select the car you have & it will give you the price & show a photo of the fitted item.

You can get them from Amazon but they are about £5 more even with free delivery.

Reargards ( sorry for the pun ;D)

That is a good idea!  The boot rubber is also vulnerable to items not being properly lifted out the boot.

Already paid for itself, wife & son carried wooden box back to car, slipped & hit guard, not a mark on it.
I feel sure if it had hit the bumper without the guard I would be looking at a major scratch at least.
Well pleased with the guard, not so with the wife & son !
