DAB bad reception
« on: July 16, 2021, 04:37:45 PM »
Hi my DAB reception is very hit and miss. Well to be honest mainly miss. It just goes quite for long periods, comes to life then lost signal again.

Is there a easy fix? 2018 car..

I prefer to use FM, partly because it displays the source station when traffic updates interrupt.

Mine seems ok but I'm puzzled by the ensemble and the other option for scanning channels..
Seems to get stuck in scan mode when I mess with it.

And FM is preferred for the daily trip in the multi storey car park..

The ensemble feature can be confusing.

I flit between London and Reading. The ensemble feature, after a scan, shows DAB channels for each area only.

I did a scan in London and found 'Greatest Hits London'. I know there is a UK DAB Greatest Hits channel but when in Reading it wasn't in the displayed list.

Pressed ensemble, switched to Berkshire area and there it was.
Let's be careful out there !
