No points and fines in Italy at that speed in our highways.

Since the speed limit on the motorways here in Poland is 140 km/h (87 mph), I'm also curious how refined it drives at such speeds (and also what the fuel consumption is at those speeds...).

Guys in Europe with higher speed limits, sorry cant help with answers to those questions.  suggest you take a test drive at the local dealer, give it a thrash along the motorway, then us know what you think.....

Once you get into engine mode (around 62 mph) the mpg starts to go down. In the uk going around 70 mph I was getting high 50's whereas getting 65+ at lower speeds. I read somewhere that at 75 mph the car goes back into hybrid mode but that's unknown territory to me other than briefly while overtaking. Have to say the engine is quiet at motorway speeds providing you don't put your foot down too hard.
