I had a rather large parcel arrive yesterday.

My BC Racing Coilovers. :D

I'll get a few photos of them when I unpack them.

Here is a photo of my BC Racing coilovers.
I've just laid out one of each component so you get an idea of what they look like.

The kit consists of:
Front coilovers (30 click adjustment) with 6kg/mm springs and adjustment for height and preload.
New front ARB drop links.
Rear strut (30 click adjustmemt) with adjustment for preload.
Rear spring mounts with height adjustment.
6kg/mm rear springs.
C Spanners and damping adjustment screws.

I need to reuse the OEM top mounting rubbers, but they are still in good condition.

Once I've got them fitted, I'll post a few more pictures.
My plan is to install them on Friday as I have the day off work.
Wish me luck, lol.

Looking good Steve. Are the drop links shorter than the OEM one's?

Yeah, the new drop links are shorter and the ends face the same side.

I managed to fit my new coilovers yesterday, I booked a day off work to get it done.
It took me much longer than I estimated, almost 6 hours in total. Most of the time was spent messing around with the ride height and adjusting the pre-load, however, it would have been much quicker if it wasn't for a seized nut on the front strut and rusted drop links.

The ride height is now spot on, lower than my previous setup, but still practical for everyday use.

I've had to re-fit my standard steel wheels for the moment as I don't think my alloys will fit unless I get the arches rolled.
My car is going in to have the front geometry set up on Monday, I'm going to get the front camber adjusted to -2.0 degrees (0.25 degrees more than my previous setup) and 4mm total toe out.

Here are a few photos...

Front:

Back:

Side:

The arch gap makes it look like the back is lower than the front, but that is just an optical illusion.

Awesome......looks the same as mine currently. Slammed on steelies haha.
You're pretty lucky with the new droplinks coming as standard with the BC kit, i had to buy new one's. Oh well.

Where did you get the spoiler from dude?

I purchased my replica Spoon CF spoiler from Kenken on FitFreak. It cost me about £175 posted from HK.
If you can't find it on the forum, send me a PM and I'll find you the link. ;)

I still need to tweak the setup by adjusting the preload front and rear, but that can wait till next weekend.
I dropped my car off at the local laser alignment centre at 11am to get the front geometry set. Hopefully they should be able to achieve the settings I'm after.

I'll find out later... I saw them get my car up on the ramps, so at least I left enough clearance, lol. ;)

It has been a few days now since getting my geometry set up, and I'm really enjoying the new suspension.
The ride is obviously pretty firm, but now I've had a chance to properly set the pre-load and damping, it feels really good.

Here are a couple of pictures i took this evening...

Checking to make sure everything is still tight:

It's nice not having to jack the car a mile into the air to lift the tyres off the ground:

I need to see if i can get my arches modified next, there's no way that I can fit either set of alloy wheels at present.
