Key Number Tag
« on: January 22, 2020, 09:29:44 PM »
I have recently purchased a 2017 EX model and after my 2008 SE it has been quite a learning curve.

My questions are;
Should I have a 'Key Number Tag' for my Keyless remote?
Regarding the Connect Audio System if the battery is disconnected for any reason is a pass code required to re-enable as on old Radio systems?

Yes.
 I was a little underwhelmed, when my new EX Navi arrived.

Just a pair of yellow, dealer key autotags, and a 70mm x 25mm plastic barcode strip, numbered M 8 x x.

I had heated seating elements fitted, later, and no-one asked me for the radio code.....

The radio code is embedded in the car's engine management computer. If you do have to reset the system for any reason, the car picks up the code automatically without you having to do anything.

I would do that.
 The tag was attached to one of the remotes. So, I guess it contains the necessary info, for any replacement.
