Honda Jazz Mk3 2015-2020 / Door seal leak?
« Last post by n.jazz on June 11, 2026, 11:43:15 PM »Hi guys, I wonder if its common for the 3rd generation Jazz rear door seals to dry out/shrink with age ( e.g. 10 years for my car) thus allowing water to run down and build up at the lower door seal groove and then trickle down into the nearby footwell? I first thought that water running down the window was possibly leaking from unstuck door membrane and running out from the lower gap between the door trim and the door metal shell to gather at the lower door seal groove so I had the door trim removed and the membrane checked and re-sealed but the issue is still the same, i.e.after some rain I still get water collecting at the bottom door seal groove and then into the foot well. The door has not been subject to accident repair or fixing at any time prior. Honda dealership advise they would charge a fortune just for 'diagnostics' despite the narrowing down of the cause. Any helpful ideas?

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: The world's carmakers are struggling to compete with China
« Last post by stefan on June 11, 2026, 10:12:54 PM »BYD and co are heavily subsidized by the Chinese government and operate at a heavy financial loss. What will happen when the party’s priorities change and subsidies disappear? Will dealers remain? And BYD likely doesn’t have as old of a fleet in the EU as other brands, so this isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison. I’m skeptical. It’s not exactly a KIA/Hyundai story.

I had seen this but have also read things elsewhere about recalibrating the windows, stop/start system, etc. If the advice in the Jazz handbook is all I need to I'd be happy. But... Anyone with experience of changing the 12v battery on a Mk4 hybrid?
Just out of interest, why are you changing the battery on a 3 year old car?

Honda Jazz Mk3 2015-2020 / Wheel fitment GP5 Jap Import
« Last post by TheReal_JC on June 11, 2026, 07:36:40 PM »Hiya,
Looking to get some wheels for the fit, and potentially coilovers.
Probably looking at the Rota Grid 15x7 ET40 with 195/55/15.
Also would get Tein street basis Z which I think is around 20mm starting drop.
Would this combo fit with no worry about rubbing?
I don't want to roll or do any altering other than the wheel and suspension.
Thanks!

It hasn't worked since, not that I'm bothered all that stopping and starting the engine is what causes wear so glad it doesn't tbh.

I have the exact same Jazz version as you (1.4 ES+ IVTEC, 2015, Mk2), bought May 2026, having taken "advice" from local garage to avoid hybrid cars (either get pure electric or ICE) due to "double potential areas for problems". This is my 2nd MK2 but a much higher mileage than your youngster.
As you say, a 6th gear for 60+ mph would seem needed but the wee Jazz just loves going.
Never tried the 2nd gear full throttle redline thing...the thought scares me!
As you say - ZERO rust

« Last post by Nicksey on June 11, 2026, 03:35:19 PM »I brought this up within weeks of buying the Jazz. The display does indeed switch itself off at some times, and gives no indication what the external lights are doing. I have no idea why, it does seem a bit odd... but according to my dealer it is normal.
