just had car serviced
« on: September 15, 2016, 03:01:45 PM »
I've just had my hybrid serviced and 3 software updates found 1 engine management 1 cvt update and 1 IMA update. I cannot why dealers will not use correct oil for hybrid engine. While Honda have developed their green oil. I get fobbed off with Havoline 5w 30w. I can only they won't stock green oil because they don't service enough Hybrid vehicles.

I wonder if one one of those updates addresses what I found to be an annoying feature when I had my hybrid: Switching from assist to charge before reaching the top of a long hill. Honda had fixed that problem on the Insight some years ago.

I have noticed that the Ima battery indicator now doesn't go up and down like bees wings and just touching the accelerator full assist. Also noticed the around town stop start fuel consumption has improved to 54mpg-56+mpg.
