Hdmi port
« on: March 13, 2021, 02:32:11 PM »
Hi all
Just got my Jazz 67 plate EX and still finding my way round it.
Took the grandkids out earlier so thought I would try the HDMI and let them watch a movies
 From my tablet (Lenovo).
Hooked up the cable selected hdmi from source and waited for it to come on. All it showed on screen was the cable end and the word IN.
OK I unplugged and replugged still the same. Left it till I got home and hooked up to my TV, working fine.
Am I missing something?
Regards Art

I believe you can only see a video when the car is stopped with the ignition in Aux, but others with the system may be better placed to advise you.

Jocko should be right, hdmi port works only with the car stationary and maybe with the handbrake on.
Units with firmware earlier than RC7 can install apps working also with the car running, I was able to play Finding Nemo from a USB pendrive.
