Hello to all in ClubJazz,
I just recently bought a 95 plate Jazz. I was looking for a car that had room to put my bike(s) in, plus extra kit etc. for trips away in the UK. The first car lot I went to I walked straight past the little Honda without even noticing it, to look at bigger vehicles. Non of them appealed, as none utilised cabin space that well. As I was leaving, I noticed the Jazz, and out of curiosity I looked inside and folded the rear seats down to see how much space there was …..impressive for such a small car!! The dealer then showed me how the rear seat bases fold up, further utilising the rear foot-well space, –very innovative and neat –converts in seconds. I took the car for a test drive, -it drove like a new car, smooth engine with good pick up, slick gearbox, positive road-holding, nice interior, with well laid out dash with simple to use controls, -and not a single annoying interior rattle. Everything worked! The car has 79,000mls on it ….amazing!
Buying this car cost me much less that I intended to initially spend on a bigger, less practical vehicle.
The Jazz seems very economical on fuel, and the road tax is much cheaper than my previous car.
My bike(s) fit in with minimal dismantling (front wheel removal only), either in the rear, or behind the front seats –so convenient. I have attached some pics to show how neat it fits with room to spare.
A friend of mine, who is a car mechanic, put the car on his lift and checked it over. He said it was in excellent condition for a car that is 14yrs old. He also said every customer of his, bar none, who has a Jazz, speaks very highly of them.
I only came across this car by coincidence and chance, I’m pleased I did.
