DAB Radio - signal loss
« on: July 09, 2024, 02:16:58 PM »
On our 21 plate Crosstar, we keep losing the DAB radio signal. No obvious reasons for this - no trees, large buildings or low valley roads. This has only started happening in the last month or so.

The Honda service department had no useful suggestions. Any ideas anyone??

I asked for DAB to be checked out during the first service since I kept losing signal.  The service team were of the opinion that the setup was a bit feeble and nothing could be done to resolve it.

What's FM like .... trying to eliminate an aerial problem

Then presumably you've done a full DAB scan to see what it's found ?
Let's be careful out there !

The FM is ok. DAB scans have been done.

DAB is odd in that it puts stations into location groups

Check the Ensemble feature to make sure you are looking at the local transmitters

I seem to recall when I did my scan, years ago now, it ended up with London selected, which was weak, and when I selected Berkshire the stations were stronger

Might not be the case but worth checking maybe
