If I knew where they were, they wouldn't be lost... but I now have a perfectly good 2005 Hond Jazz that is locked (and the battery is disconnected) and no key to open it. Even if I get it open I will still need a replacement key for it. Any ideas?

Are you in the AA, RAC, or Green Flag? These guys are generally adept at opening a car. The trouble is, once you open it you will have to replace the locks as, as far as I am aware, the key number is not on the ignition barrel. Unless there is a key inside?

Getting in is probably not that hard... but getting a replacement key without the original... that is going to be the problem. I wonder if Honda keeps a record? I don't want to change all the locks and the impobelizer stuff... that sounds expencive.

Did you ever have a 2nd key kept elsewhere?
As others have commented new key = £.

Please check the terms of your insurance policy, to see if the insurance covers the issue of lost keys.
